Corrotech designs recirculating air dryer that best fit your specific requirements and applications and ensures improvement in galvanizing performance. Corrotech integrates the hot air dryer with the galvanizing furnace to get optimum performance for pre-heating and drying the steel surface by re-circulating the exhaust flue gases that are generated out of the furnace.

We have infused innovation in our design and manufactured it strategically using state-of-art technology to meet the performance and industry requirements. Corrotech’s air dryer is manufactured from high quality carbon steel with sufficient insulation to prevent loss of heat and ensure efficient transfer of heat from the furnace to the dryer. The blower and the flue ducts are cladded with insulation and coated with epoxy aluminum finishing paint to protect against corrosion. The complete hot air oven is designed to allow easy maintenance and cleaning considering the hygiene standards.

The hot air generated out of flue gases that is recirculated for drying of steel to be dipped allows faster reaction of steel with the molten zinc and thereby guarantees reduction of loss of zinc due to spurting and reduction in fuel consumption.

Design Features

  • Heat recovery system that eliminates the need of auxiliary burners.
  • PLC based automatic temperature control system.
  • Motorized air damper to achieve constant temperature.
  • Huge air volume at a high flow rate is recirculated within the drying chamber using a large centrifugal blower.
  • Temperature and air flow uniformity is made sure for quick and efficient drying.
  • Twin door enclosure installed motorized cranages moving over the rail mounted on the periphery of the dryer wall.

Benefits

  • Lower zinc consumption.
  • Minimize fuel consumption.
  • Fully eliminate zinc splash.
  • High product quality.
  • Good housekeeping in the workplace.
  • Safe working environment
  • Energy conservation
